Lower Back Workshop with Vickie – Mar. 14th
The lower back is often a place of pain for many people. It supports the whole weight of the torso and gravity compounds the issue. The result of this can often range from a dull ache to crippling pain as vertebral discs become compromised with less space for optimal health.
Vickie suffered from chronic lower back pain for 10 years before being introduced to the alignment principles of Iyengar yoga. In this class, she will teach you how to create space in the lower back and the whole spine while practicing yoga asanas (poses) in standing, sitting, inverted and twisting positions.
This class is for minor lower back issues, not severe problems. Come to learn how to move to keep yourself healthy!
This 2-hour workshop costs $30 if paid in advance or $35 day of class. All levels of students welcome. Class time is 12-2pm on Mar. 14th.
