Iyengar Yoga is for everyone. No one is too old or too stiff, too fat or thin or tired. A Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher can guide students of all ages and physical conditions to an experience of yoga, which is safe, accessible and rewarding.
The best way to introduce yourself to the benefits of Iyengar Yoga is to start with the basics. Our 6-week Beginners Series is designed as a starting point to beginning a yoga practice and is perfect for those new to Iyengar Yoga. Elementary poses and basic principles of alignment will be introduced to give you a preview of what you’ll experience when you join one of our Level 1 classes. This course is offered on a rotating basis. Check our website for info on the next series.
The Fundamentals of Asana class is for people who are new to Iyengar Yoga or may need a refresher. This class will introduce the foundations of Iyengar Yoga, such as proper alignment and sequencing, along with helping students develop mobility, strength, flexibility and stability. This class is offered on an ongoing basis on Mondays from 10-11:30am.
New student package: 3 weeks of unlimited classes for $50
We think it’s important for our new students to try several classes as they become introduced to Iyengar Yoga. With this new package, you can sample different class types as well as multiple instructors over a 3-week period. This package is available only to first-time students and can be purchased in the studio.
