Iyengar Yoga is for everyone. No one is too old or too stiff, too fat or thin or tired. A Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher can guide students of all ages and physical conditions to an experience of yoga, which is safe, accessible and rewarding.
The best way to introduce yourself to the benefits of Iyengar Yoga is to start with the basics. Our 6-week Beginners Series is designed as a starting point to beginning a yoga practice and is perfect for those new to Iyengar Yoga. The Fundamentals of Asana is another way to learn the basics of or refamiliarize yourself with Iyengar Yoga. Elementary poses and basic principles of alignment will be introduced to give you a preview of what you’ll experience when you join one of our Level 1 classes.
All Levels classes and our restorative practice are both suitable for new students.
